The Chive posted the best selling gifts every year since 1980. I was born in '81, so this was a great trip down memory lane, but it was also an eye-opener. Check this out.

The No. 1 gift in 1980 was a Rubik's Cube retailing for $1.99. The No. 1 gift in 2010? An Apple iPad retailing, then, for $499.99. That's just crazy.
