Kyle Bennett was our in-studio guest last week on Radio Texas Live and it just so happened to be the very first "Five Questions" of the new year. Being such, we had a couple changes to The RTX mainstay and I also took the opportunity to heckle Kyle a bit about the Texas Rangers, check it out.

Kyle Bennett will be my guest tomorrow on Radio Texas Live -- it'll not only be the first time he's been in-studio with us since August of last year, tomorrow will also be the very first "5 Questions" of 2012, whoa! Wrap your head around that. We may have to change things up or bit, also he'll sing live for us. I suppose we can't say, conclusively the jump on the chart has to do only with him coming by here but, Kyle Bennett DID stop by KNUE to perform on our Front Porch for a bunch of our listeners before his concert at Electric Cowboy and he came back that Saturday for his first appearance on Radio Texas Live, which all was followed by a big jump on the charts. Are the events related? --I guess we'll never know for sure.

Kyle Bennett sings many great songs including his latest single 'Here In This Town' which is Top 20 on the Texas charts and rising but there's one song in particular released a while back that I'm still getting requests for on the reg, it's just one of those songs that people connect with --it's a Corb Lund song called 'Time To Switch To Whiskey' and of course Kyle sang it Wednesday when he stopped in on The KNUE Front Porch but he sang quite a few more and I intend to share a few of the performances with you.
