June 28, 2011 Fireworks are part of the classic Americana that surrounds the Fourth of July. Memories are made around sparklers and Roman candles. There's firework displays planned all across East Texas that promises to will light up the night this fourth of July!
Tyler will have three firework shows including; Bryan Conaway's fireworks display at the Dam Lake Tyler, a fireworks display at the First Baptist Church Tyler-South Campus, and join KNUE along with the Tyler Jaycees fireworks display at Lindsey Park! June 24, 2011 This summer, East Texas is experiencing record breaking temperatures, and the first question on everyone's mind is "Where can I go to stay cool?" With these long and extremely hot and sweltering days, staying cool is a necessity! Here are a few 'cool' places to visit in Tyler and Longview, that just could be what the doctor ordered!
East Texas is a great place to live. The only time we see snow is when the cable goes out on the television. Fishing is so highly regarded around here, the bass boats cost more than the pick-up that is pulling them. Gander Mountain is the Saks Fifth Avenue of the area. Folks around here are friendly and everyone always has a funny story about third cousin on their mothers' side. There are many a small town that makeup East Texas, including Tyler, Longview, Jacksonville, Lindale, Chandler, Whitehouse, Kilgore, Mineola and Marshall . Tonight Longview we are in for a treat! Wade Bowen has become one of the premiere names in Texas Music and his Live At Billy Bob's album, recorded in November 2009 and released in 2010 has only worked to solidify his place in Texas and Country Music. Bowen who will be in Longview tonight for Alleyfest, called into Radio Texas Live and first we talked about his annual 13th Annual Bowen Classic benefiting Postpartum Support International.

May 21, 2011 It's graduation season and some seniors are wanting to 'stretch' their new found freedom, and take a trip. Nothing wrong with that right? But some graduates are set on an unsupervised trips and out of the country trips too! The last few days we have asked your take on it, and we got some very interesting comments. This got me thinking, since in 3 years I will be in the same so-called dilemma.

This weekend, the Expo is the largest boat and travel Expo east of I-35. More than 150 boats, 100 RV/travel trailers, and 50 ATVs and motorcycles from East Texas are on exhibit during the three day event. If you want to catch with Amy she is at this fun event from 2p - 6p - more after the jump.
