I remember the wedding location was a huge secret with everybody taking guesses at where they thought the wedding location would be. All of East Texas was excited for our hometown girl!
You would think that landing on People magazine’s most beautiful people list (not to mention being an award-winning artist) would give Miranda Lambert a big head. After all, she’s netted awards for her good looks, plus scored nominations and wins from the Academy of Country Music, CMT Music Awards, Grammy Awards and more. But that hasn’t morphed the sassy country singer into anything else. She insists she’s the same down-home girl that she’s always been.

Blake Shelton and his ever-devoted wife, Lindale's own Miranda Lambert. Church has since apologized for offending his peers (though he stood by his comments), but Miranda wants to see him beg.
East Texan Miranda Lambert scored her fourth career No. 1 single this week with her latest hit, ‘Over You.’ Lambert penned the emotional tune with her superstar husband, Blake Shelton. The song hit extremely close to home for the couple, as the lyrical content was written around Shelton losing his brother in a fatal car accident when he was a teen.
May 7, 2012 East Texas' own Miranda Lambert has patched up her differences with actor Ashton Kutcher. Miranda lashed out at Kutcher when he was a presenter at the Academy of Country Music Awards show a few weeks ago. It seems when Ashton came out on stage dressed in cowboy clothing and then sang a rendition of George Strait's "I Cross My Heart," a lot of folks felt he was "making fun" of country music, including Miranda.
In August, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Sara Evans and plenty more will headline the first Watershed Music Festival to be held in George, Wash., just east of Seattle. The show, presented by Live Nation, is set for Aug. 3-5, and will give fans the full experience, with music, camping, late night sets, impromptu jam sessions, collaborations and more.
If you saw Blake Shelton hanging out with Jay Leno on ‘The Tonight Show‘ this week, you might have raised an eyebrow at the ‘Over’ singer’s flirtatious comments toward movie star Scarlett Johansson. Innocent as they were, Shelton’s flirty antics beg the question, “What would Miranda Lambert think of this?” The country star’s wife of nearly a year took to Twitter to assure her fans that she’s not worried about her man.
Over 50 musicians, sports figures and entertainment organizations have come together to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) through a special eBay auction that began this past weekend. Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Josh Thompson, Dierks Bentley, Chris Young, Darius Rucker, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum and Jason Aldean are among the country celebrities who have handed over special items for the benefit. Fans have until May 7 to purchase items in the second-annual auction. Bidding will come to an end at 7 PM ET on Monday.

Country music’s most prolific married couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton performed ‘The Voice’ coach’s No. 1 hit ‘Honey Bee’ together at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, Calif. over the weekend. Lambert brought Shelton on stage during her April 27 show to perform this little ditty, which was a pleasant surprise for the crowd.

Of course, Young was excited to kick off shows for the firecracker country songstress — but he didn’t really think about how many dogs would travel alongside her ahead of time. Even if she were to go south a bit, we would expect Lambert to be pulling for the Houston Texans. But now, strangely, the ‘Over You’ singer is actually a shareholder of Wisconsin’s Green Bay Packers. We wonder if this will get the southern gal on her feet rooting for a team from the north.
