Taylor Swift fans were looking forward to seeing her on the big screen. Taylor had been offered the part in the upcoming adaption of 'Les Miserable' as Eponine. But it looks like the part went to a British actress, Samantha Barks, who has played the part before.

Appearing on the ‘Today’ show this morning because of their new film ‘Joyful Noise,’ Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah took the descriptor “cross-genre” just one step further. When host Ann Curry pointed out that hip-hop and country had an intersection in the two artists, Parton innocently said, “We never thought about that. We just thought it’d be rap stuff,” and then she jumped right into a rap with Latifah beat-boxing at her side.

For fans who can’t get enough of ‘Harold & Kumar,’ you may have a way of seeing them every week on TV, in cartoon form.

Deadline reports that Lionsgate is shopping around an animated version of the hit movies. The most recent entry, ‘A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas,’ came in third place in the box office race this weekend with an estimated $13.1 million.

According to Rotten Tomatoes.com, 'Thor' the movie is a hit. 'Thor' opened Friday and stars Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins and heart throb Chris Hemsworth. Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 79% with the audience showing more love with an 84%. 'Thor' spans the Marvel University from present day Earth to the mystical realm Asgard. Water For Elephants Romantic and Beautifully Filmed [VIDEO]

Over the weekend I saw the movie 'Water For Elephants' starring Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon and actor Robert Pattinson. I had read the book written by talented author, Sara Gruen, several years before. I fell in love with the story then, and even more after I saw the film.

Even with the critics being unkind about the film, I loved it! I found it too be a beautiful, interesting and romantic period film.

Emmy and Tony Award winner Hal Holbrook, whom I did not know was even in the film, gives a stirring and touching performance. Read more and watch the movie trailer after the jump.
