This year alone, breast cancer is estimated to affect 230,480 women and 2,140 men. Deaths are estimated at 39,520 for women and 450 for men. These are alarming numbers. But as I say, knowledge is power! So, this month I encourage you to make a pledge to take at least one step to educate your self on this deadly disease.

Our great state of Texas has had a rough few months. The fire's raging all over the state have been devastating, to say the least. So many of our friends and neighbors have lost so much. From property, their homes, to personal mementos and of course their livelihood. Some have even lost their lives. As fellow Texans, it pains us to see the devastation these fires have done. But being the Texans we are, we pull together and persevere.
