Pat Green.  He's one of the best to ever come out of Texas and he's back. His new project titled "Songs We Wished We'd Written Part II" is scheduled to be released in early 2012 and it appears the divisive singer --people who love him and people who used to love him-- is making a return to his Texas roots, he even sent a hand written note (photocopied, but hand written) with his new single, in it he said "I felt like it was time to get back to making the music that I love to listen to."
