According to CMT.com, Taylor Swift and the Academy of Country Music each donated $25,000 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on Saturday (June 11). As the ACM's reigning entertainer of the year, Swift chose St. Jude as the recipient of her 'ACM Lifting Lives' matching gift which offers artists a chance to donate to a charity of their choice with the ACM matching the funds. 'ACM Lifting Lives' is dedicated to improving lives through the power of music. Way to Go ACM and Taylor!!

Not only did John win, but he won for the kids of St. Jude!

John Rich was focused, and never let his goal out of sight! That goal was to make as much money for the precious kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and that is why I think he was victorious. John raised over $1M for the kids of St. Jude.
