August 15, 2011 The death of 5 people and the 45 people injured in Saturday night's tragedy at the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis, has touched all of us. I know when I heard the terrible news I was stunned. Reports say that high winds toppled the stage to the ground. The crowd was there to see headliner Sugarland. Thank goodness they had not taken the stage yet.
Who doesn’t love when their favorite singers cover a popular ’80s song? Last week, country duo Sugarland and singer/songwriter Sara Bareilles performed ‘Come On Eileen,’ as part of their show at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles.
Bareilles is currently touring with Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, who make up the bubbly country duo.

April 27, 2011 Sugarland takes 68% of the vote in defeating Glen Templeton in yesterday's Daily Duel. But, I'll be the first to say that Templeton has a great career in country music ahead of him. I've only listened to a few songs so far on his new CD, and this young man has a huge amount of talent.
So, now Sugarland tries for their 5th straight victory on the Duel as they take on relative newcomer Kip Moore.
April 25, 2011 Sugarland continues as our champion on the KNUE Daily Duel, most recently defeating Vince Gill's new song with about 59% of the vote.
Sugarland now takes on newcomer Glen Templeton, who has a very interesting tie-in to Conway Twitty.
April 21, 2011 Sugarland withstands another challenge on the Daily Duel, this time racking up around 70% of the vote against Hunter Hayes.
Now Sugarland will get tested by an artist who had his first top 5 song before Hunter was even born.
April 19, 2011 Sugarland gets the victory yesterday over Thompson Square by taking a little over 62% of the vote.
Now, Sugarland takes on Hunter Hayes in today's Daily Duel.
April 18, 2011 Sugarland is our latest champion on Danny's Daily Duel.
They received 54% of the vote in Thursday's Duel to defeat the new song from Sunny Sweeney.
Now, Sugarland moves on to take on Thompson Square.
April 14, 2011 Reba McEntire has made it into the Daily Duel Hall of Fame with her 7th straight victory...she got over 73% of the vote in yesterday's win over Rodney Atkins.
