If you don't know by now Gilmer native Curtis Grimes is on NBC's The Voice and last Tuesday was his live, nationally televised performance and tonight will be the results show.
On tonight's live show the person who got the most votes from America will be saved and continue on The Voice, then coach Cee-Lo will choose to save one additional member of his team, but only one.
Recently ET native Curtis Grimes from NBC's The Voice called in to Radio Texas Live and I made some bold predictions including:
1. Curtis will be battling Emily Valentine
2. Curtis's battle will take place Tuesday May31 (tonight)
3. Curtis and Emily Valentine's battle song will be Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 2003 smash ‘Crazy In Love’

In a move that will surprise no one, NBC announced Thursday that it is expanding 'The Voice' to two hours, effective June 7.
June 7 is, of course, when 'The Voice' switches to its live performance shows. According to Deadline, the live shows will air from 9-11PM on Tuesdays, following an hour-long episode of 'America's Got Talent.'
Well, our Gilmer friend Curtis Grimes wasn't on last night's battle episode so we can expect to see him either next Tuesday or the following Tuesday.
On to last night's show, Blake Shelton is up to making bad decisions again. He passed on Curtis last week and then went with Dallas's Patrick Thomas over Tyler Robinson when they squared off in the battle round.
One episode into the brand new series and contestants are all ready making their voices be heard --on iTunes. I'm not much for reality TV. I don't watch American Idol and I rarely will even start watching a show that is 2 hours long i.e. Celebrity Apprentice (there is no reason that show can't be 1 hour.) But, in anticipation of seeing our East Texas buddy Curtis Grimes I did watch NBC's The Voice last night.
Last week East Texan and Harmony High School graduate Curtis Grimes called into Radio Texas Live to tell us about NBC's The Voice, which he will be auditioning for and hopefully make it through to the next round of.
All of us at KNUE have got a pretty good feeling that Curtis will go far on the show and as/if he progresses he's promised to call in and keep all of East Texas up to date on his television adventure out in California.
I don't follow Blake Shelton on Twitter but I've definitely heard the rumors of his infamously funny tweets.
