Last week on Radio Texas Live we introduced East Texas to The Will Callers. I came across the band, who are based out of the Fort Worth area when they opened for Robert Earl Keen last month here in Tyler. I'd say their music is a blend of blues and rock/new and old and they cite The Rolling Stones and The Faces as inspiration -- Yes, it is a little different than most the music you'll hear on my show but I immediately enjoyed their sound and based on the messages, phone calls and emails apparently so did East Texas.
