'Dallas' Season 2 Holding Funeral For Larry Hagman's J.R. Ewing

Late last month we had the sad duty of reporting that veteran cultural icon and the actor behind legendary soap 'Dallas' most enduring character J.R. Ewing, Larry Hagman had passed away of cancer-related complications. Hagman's passing also left TNT's revived 'Dallas' series in the lurch in the midst of shooting a second season when the actor died. We knew that TNT would find a way to work the character's death into the story as well, but now have details of the funeral, including several past 'Dallas' stars in attendance.

'Dallas' fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the Ewing clan to Southfork. Well fans, you only have to wait a few more hours. The all new "Dallas" kicks off tonight with a two-hour premiere at 8 p.m. on TNT.

To launch the high quality channel TNT in Belgium, Turner Benelux (TBS Europe) decided to add a little drama to this quiet Belgium square. They put a big red button in the middle of the square with a arrow pointing to it that read "PUSH TO ADD DRAMA". And for the bystanders who were just enjoying a quiet stroll through Belgium, they got a dramatic surprise indeed; and it is hilarious. Well done, Turner Benelux, very well done.
