Tax Free Weekend 2013: Ways to Save Money Before School Starts
Each year Texans have the option to go shopping before school starts without paying taxes on various goods, and we’ve got all the details here!
Although the weekend was intended to be August 16-18, a piece of Texas legislature moved the dates to August 9-11. Texans can go shopping for school supplies, clothes and more, all without paying tax!
Check out the detailed list of items here. Note that all sales made during the weekend are eligible for tax exemption, including those made over the phone, online or via mail.
