For most of us, getting an extra couple hours of sleep at night would be a dream. But for some, sleep is a nightmare. A brave teen has stepped forward as a real life Sleeping Beauty, but admits that it is no fairytale. The disease she suffers from makes her sleep for months at a time.

Nicole Delien, 17, suffers from a rare sleep disorder that's been called "sleeping beauty syndrome," which can cause her to sleep up to 19 hours a day. She once slept for 64 days straight. She sleeps and wakes up occasionally in a phase similar to sleep-walking, when she eats and uses the restroom before going back to sleep. Her mother says she has only been awake for 3 of the last 7 Christmases.

Natalie has what is called Kleine-Levin Syndrome. It is a neurological disorder in the brain that doesn't manage sleep properly. Only about 1,000 people in the U.S. have been diagnosed with the disorder.
