Meet Emma Broyer and Levi Mayhew.  They both have earned their wings, and no, it has nothing to do with the picture on the plane.  I'm talking angel wings.

Levi is 6 years old and suffers from Zellweger Spectrum, a rare, incurable disease that affects about 1 in 50,000 births every year.  According to a report, in 2014, the Make-a-Wish Foundation presented Mayhew and his family with a trip to Disney World in Florida, but little Levi had a wish of his own that was astonishing.  His wish was to transfer the trip to one of his best friends, a 10 year old girl named Emma Broyer.

For the past couple years, Broyer has made it a point to write frequent letters of encouragement to Mayhew while prompting her classmates to do the same.  According to Mayhew's relatives, visits and letters from Emma are some of the few things that continue to bring joy in the young boy's life.

So, this terminally ill beautiful little man wanted to make sure that one of the most special persons in his life received this trip.  Levi and his family even arranged a surprise party to present the news of the Disney trip.  Emma did make sure that Levi was along for the trip, albeit as a color printout.

Levi Mayhew and Emma Broyer, thank you for being the shining examples of living God's Golden Rule.  Mayhew continues his battle with the disease and he and his family continue to be on the receiving end of so many prayers.
