It has been several weeks since this year's Memorial Day Weekend floods ravaged the small town of Wimberley, Texas, but the Texas/Red Dirt music scene hasn't forgotten about those Central Texas families who are still trying to rebuild their community.

A group of musicians, artists, and the Brookshire Brothers Grocery story chain are come together to raise money for the Wimberley Valley Community with a benefit concert.

On Aug. 9, the "Texas Flood of LOVE" benefit will be held at The Nutty Brown Cafe in Austin and the stellar lineup includes: Ray Wylie Hubbard, Bob Schneider, John Fullbright, Hayes Carll, Jimmie Vaughan, William Clark Green, Wade Bowen, Jason Boland, and Robyn Ludwick. The doors will open at 1 p.m.

Also, a silent online auction with autographed memorabilia from The Eagles, Willie Nelson, The Dixie Chicks, Merle Haggard, Garth Brooks, Nolan Ryan, Delbert McClinton and more will begin on Friday, Aug. 7. All of the proceeds will will benefit the Wimberley Valley and surrounding areas.
