Texas Honors National Free Fishing Day on Saturday
National Free Fishing Day means that no fishing license is required, and not just in state parks where you can fish every day of the year without a license, but any Texas public waters!
National Fishing and Boating Week, a national celebration of fishing and boating, takes place June 2 – 10, 2012. National Fishing and Boating Week is the perfect reason to get out on the water and experience the joys of boating and fishing. Coinciding with most state’s free fishing days, National Fishing and Boating Week occurs each year during the first full week of June.
