A man from Waco who said he was high on the synthetic drug K2 was arrested after he chased a neighbor while on all-fours and eventually strangled and starting eating a family dog -- while it was ALIVE -- sparking yet another zombie-style discussion from recent events around the nation.

KWTX in Waco reports Michael Terron Daniel, 22, said he was "on a bad trip from ingesting K2" when he got on his hands and knees and chased a neighbor while barking and growling like a dog. After he finished chasing the man, he grabbed a neighbor's dog, beat and strangled it and then "began to bite the dog, ripping pieces of flesh away," Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

The dog died and police found Daniel on the porch covered in blood.

Police said Daniel even asked to be shocked with a stun gun or be beaten up by the officers to help him get off his trip on K2, which is a synthetic form of marijuana.

It's truly amazing what people will do to get high, without wondering about the consequences. Or that people are opting for bath salts or other synthetic forms of drugs that only result in turning them into zombies.

K2 was legal in Texas for a while before it was outlawed late last year.
