‘The Magical Music of Disney’ Visits East Texas in February [VIDEO + POLL]
Don’t miss the unique family concert, The Magical Music of Disney this February in Marshall with the Marshall Symphony Orchestra. Disney has some of the best music from Lion King to Beauty and The Beast. This concert is perfect for the entire family and features the timeless music of Disney classics with beautiful symphonic arrangements, synchronized with the most loved Disney animation.
The Magical Music of Disney will feature award winning songs from favorite Disney animated films like the Tarzan, Mary Poppins, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and many others. Music from Disney’s earliest classic animated films, and more recent releases are included in the show too.
This show has been performed for over 70,000 people worldwide during the past three years. The show has been performed in nine countries and 25 states, by 38 different symphony orchestras, thrilling audiences with each new show.
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing, The Lion King, Beauty and The Beast and Mary Poppins on Broadway and I can’t tell you what a thrill it is to watch this musical with the beautiful and exciting symphony. The symphony is what makes the entire show. I will definitely be going to this show!
The Marshall Symphony will present the concert Sunday, February 17, at 3 p.m., in the Ornelas Spiritual Life Center on the Campus of East Texas Baptist University. Tickets cost $25 for adults, $20 for senior citizens, $5 for students, and children under 12 are admitted free, with the purchase of an adult ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or in advance by calling 903-935-4484.
