Things To Do This Weekend In East Texas

With the week being half way over, we know the stretch to the weekend is the worst. So to make it go faster and give you something to look forward to, we found some fun things to do this weekend. Out of this whole list, your bound to find something that fits your weekend mood.

For those who want to start their weekend a little bit early,  Thursday you should head on over to Grahams in Longview to see an awesome show by none other than Kevin Fowler! We have an overload of options to keep you entertained on Friday night. The obvious choice would be to hit up one of the local football games. We have a list of games and times here. But if you aren't the sports guru type, head on over to Where's Rufus Sports Bar to see Carthage native Brandon Rhyder! Brandon will also be stopping by the KNUE front porch Friday afternoon. Also this weekend is the Monster Truck Fall Nationals at Lonestar Speedway in Kilgore. This would be a fun event for the whole family. So grab the kids and head on out to Lonestar Speedway this Saturday!  For ticket info and everything you will need click here. If you are over in the Longview area, head on over to the Gregg County Fair any day this weekend for a good time. This would be a great thing to do with the kids and/or friends. There are tons of rides and attractions, and who can forget the fair food? If I were in Longview, I would definitely not miss out on this. I mean really, how can you say no to fried, fatty fair food?
