Well the week is coming to a close, and it is time to start thinking about what kind of trouble you're going to get into this weekend. Well we put together a list of a lot of things to do this weekend that will keep you out of trouble, but will no doubt keep you entertained.

Once again, Friday night football is the thing to do in East Texas. Fall has started, the weather is cooler, and this football season is drawing to a close. So grab the family and head on over to the Lindale Eagles homecoming game, or any other game on our Friday Night Football in East Texas list.

For all you music lovers out there, there is only one place to be this Saturday night. Tyler's 24th Annual Festival on the Square is this Saturday night on the streets of downtown Tyler. Don't miss performances from Kylie Rae Harris, Curtis Grimes, Kyle Park, and Josh Abbott. Gates open at 5 pm with the first act taking the stage about 5:45 pm. You can get your tickets here.

For those of you who aren't faint of heart and who are into this kind of thing- its haunted house season. And the biggest, best, and scariest haunted houses are found right here in East Texas. I can guarantee you that I won't be caught dead (pun intended) at one of these houses, but I'm a big baby. But here is a list of our top haunted houses. Whichever one you choose I have no doubt you will have the bejeezes scared out of you. Speaking of Halloween, don't for get to buy your tickets for Spookzilla 2011 on October 29! You can get those tickets here.

If you want to start getting into the Halloween spirit, but are like me and are very faint of heart and wimpy, head on over to Moore Farms. The farm is covered in pumpkins and tons of activities to choose from for people of all ages. Take the kids and pick out a pumpkin and go on a hayride! It opens  Saturday at 10 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m., and on Sunday it runs from 12p.m.-5p.m. and costs only $10 for a pumpkin and all activities. This is the perfect way to kick off the beginning of the fall and Halloween season without being scared out of your panties.

Whether you're into music to season festivities, or scary things to football, there is something for everyone this weekend in East Texas. Just a few more hours and the weekend is officially here. What do you plan to do this weekend?
