Third Annual Downtown Tyler Wine Swirl Set for Saturday

Tickets are still available or the third annual Downtown Tyler Wine Swirl, scheduled for Saturday, June 25 from 6 to 10 p.m.

“Tickets last year and in the inaugural year sold out prior to the beginning of the event, so I am sure people are buying early to make sure they are able to attend,” Beverly Abell of the City of Tyler Main Street Department said.

At a wine swirl, participants report to a central site (Gallery Main Street) to pick up a plate, glass and information on Swirl sites around the Downtown Tyler square. Restaurants and wineries are paired in various buildings throughout the area. Ticket-holders are able to stroll from site to site getting samples of wine and food. More than two dozen restaurants and wineries are expected to participate.

Tickets are $50 each, and net proceeds help fund the City of Tyler Main Street. Purchases may be made at Gallery Main Street, 110 W. Erwin St., or online at TylerWineSwirl.com.
