This Saturday the KNUE ‘Gold Rush’ Honors Haggard, Milsap, Kristofferson and the Late Buck Owens

This Saturday the KNUE "Gold Rush" will pay tribute to country legends Merle Haggard, Ronnie Milsap, Kris Kristofferson, and the late Buck Owens. These guys will be receiving country's most prestigious awards from the Academy of Country Music this Sunday.  Merle Haggard will receive the Crystal Milestone Award. This award honors 50 years in country music for the "Hag."

Ronnie Milsap, along with Toby Keith, are the recipients of the Career Achievement Award, which honors an individual artist, duo, group or multiple artist collaboration that has advanced the popularity and acceptance of country music.

The late Buck Owens and Kris Kristofferson will both be awarded the Poets Award that celebrates their outstanding musical and/or lyrical contributions to the field of country music.
