Wednesday morning (July 12), prospective jury members met at the Smith County Courthouse as per their jury summons.

One prospective juror thought he was attending an early morning party.

23-year-old Taylor Huckaby of Tyler showed up to the courthouse stumbling, slurring his speech and carrying a cup which later was found to be filled with beer according to KLTV.

Obviously, Huckaby was arrested. He was charged with public intoxication and taken to the Smith County Jail.

This is not his first offense. According to his arrest record, he has been arrested for public intoxication January 1 of this year. June 12, he was charged with a DWI.
