Three Children Killed in Winona Fire
The investigation continues into the cause of a house fire that claimed the lives of three children under the age of 11.
Winona Police Chief Bryan Richards said three boys ages 4, 6 and 9 died when the fire broke out Sunday morning in the small home at 211 Kay Street. Richards says an 8-year-old boy and two adults are hospitalized in Shreveport for treatment of burns and smoke inhalation.
He says four other children in the house at the time weren’t injured. The other children were sent to stay with relatives.
