The new season of the reality show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" kicked off last night. Just like you would expect, it was as redneck as ever. Last night's show had the family celebrating Halloween, with the family doing the whole pumpkin-carving, trick-or-treating, hot mess thing. The family does, in a weird unconventional way, seem to be a close family full of love, Somehow they are really endearing, of course in their own redneck way!

The family may seem "backwoods," but don't be fooled. Mama June Shannon is proving to be a smart financial manager, having announced she is splitting up the income from the show into trust funds for her four daughters.

If you're not familiar with the show, it's about a child pageant queen and her family. It's a spinoff from TLC's "Toddlers and Tiaras." It's reported the show pays the family $20,000 an episode. Mama June has put the money back for the girls, who can't get it until they are 21, except to pay for school.

I would say that this family is smarter than the average redneck!
