Easter is coming up and soon kids all across East Texas will be out with their Easter baskets hunting candy filled eggs hidden by the Easter bunny. Before Easter arrives on Sunday, April 20th, kids can participate in a gigantic Easter egg hunt at Lindsey Park in Tyler.

The annual Twilight Easter Egg Hunt will happen Thursday, April 17th at Lindsey Park on Spur 364. There will be music, face painters, clowns, balloon artists, bounce houses, concessions and more thanks to Tyler Parks and Recreation. The event gets underway at 6p with the hunts beginning around 7p. The egg hunts will be on the softball fields and will be divided up depending upon age group.

Hunts will begin at:

7p - for special needs children
7:15p - children 3 years to 5 years
7:35p - children 6 years to 8 years
7:55p - children 9 years to 10 years
