The Tyler Area Builders Association is holding it's 59th Annual Parade of Homes! I look forward to this event every year, and every year I'm not disappointed. The Parade of Homes kicks off on Saturday, June 2 through Saturday, June 10.

This year will feature 36 homes on the tour and most will include outdoor kitchens and fireplaces. More homeowners are opting to build outdoor kitchens and fireplaces instead of traveling. Just walk outside to your own backyard getaway! Stone patios and pools are also gaining popularity with homeowners.

4,000 visitors toured the Parade of Homes last year, and this year promises to be even bigger.

The hours of the Parade are:

Saturdays 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Sundays 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Monday-Thursday 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Friday 3 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets go on sale May 29 at the TABA office during business hours and at other locations. Remote ticket sales locations, builder profiles, properties list and map will be available on Tuesday, May 29.
