Tyler Police Searching for Man Who Robbed Bank
Tyler police are still on the hunt for a man who robbed a South Tyler bank this afternoon.
Tyler Police Department spokesperson Don Martin said a man standing about 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, walked into the BBVA Compass Bank at S. Broadway Ave. and Southtown Drive, pulled out a gun and demanded money. He fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
Martin also described the man as a white male with blonde hair and wearing a blue basketball jersey and blue shorts. No one was reportedly injured in the accident.
