Tyler Woman Robbed at Gunpoint in Her Driveway

Tyler Police are looking into an armed robbery of a woman at a mobile home park.

Officers received the call shortly after 5 a.m. Friday at 2525 Shiloh Road. The victim told police a man armed with a gun confronted her in the driveway moments after she arrived home.

The suspect pointed the weapon at the victim, demanded money, and then stole her purse.

The victim described the suspect as a young black male, heavy set, and in his early 20’wearing a blue bandana that covered his face.

The suspect then fled the scene as a passenger in a light blue sedan.
