Hundreds, if not thousands, of kids will soon be hunting Easter Eggs by twilight in Tyler!

For the seventeenth year, East Texas children will be hunting Easter Eggs by twilight on the softball fields of Lindsey Park in Tyler! This years' Twilight Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Lindsey Park on Spur 364 in Tyler Thursday, March 29th.

As the sun begins to set at Lindsey Park, East Texas children will be running across the softball fields filling up their Easter baskets with Easter eggs that have been scattered all around! The fun begins at 6:15 p.m. with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny along with other activities such as karaoke, vendor booths and several fun activities. The hunt kicks off around 6:45 p.m. on the softball field and will be divided up into the following age groups:

  • 6:45 p.m. - special needs children
  • 7:00 p.m. - children ages 3 to 5
  • 7:20 p.m. - children ages 6 to 8
  • 7:45 p.m. - children ages 9 to 10

Admission is free and children should bring their own Easter baskets or something to hold all their eggs. Concessions will be available for a fee. Hunt times are floating times and are subject to change depending upon circumstances and parents will only be allowed to hunt with their special needs child.

No need to bring a flashlight during this twilight hunt, because the lights on the field will remain on!
