Ewan McNicol is the co-director of a documentary that was shot on Caddo Lake which features the lives of three men, Zach Warren, Henry Lewis and Wayne Smith, as they seek redemption on in Uncertain and on Caddo Lake.

"We finished the film in 2015, and it premiered at (the Tribeca Film Festival) in April of 2015. After that, we did what was pretty typical with independent films where we screened at a number of films in the U.S. and other countries to build awareness around the film. That went through 2015 and into early 2016," McNicol told the Longview News Journal.

That tedious process led to a final decision.

"After lots of conversations and back and forth, we felt we were better positioned to distribute the film ourselves with our company and the help of the Sundance Institute, who originally supported the film both financially and inviting us to Sundance labs to work on the film," McNicol's said.

The film was also shown last week in Shreveport and at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Tonight's viewing is already sold out in Marshall but it will be shown next weekend, March 10 through 12. Tickets and showtimes can be found at marshallcinema.com.

Co-director Anna Sandilands along with the film's cast, Zach Warren, Henry Lewis and Wayne Smith, will have a question and answer session after each of the three showings tonight.

"Uncertain" is available for pre-order on iTunes and available for rent or purchase on March 17. Check out the trailer below.
