Liberty Hall in downtown Tyler, is hosting a CD release party for Austin-based artist, Uncle Lucius. Uncle Lucius will be performing and introducing his latest studio album “And You Are Me” on Friday, Oct. 5 at 8 p.m.  If you've never seen Uncle Lucius, do yourself a favor and don't miss this show!  I was first introduced to Uncle Lucius' music by my friend, Buddy Logan. He played an Uncle Lucius song for me at work, and to say the least I was "hooked." I describe Uncle Lucius music as kind of a mix of  indie rock, blues and at times, a tad of country.

Recorded in Austin and Nashville, “And You Are Me,” Uncle Lucius takes Rock-and-Roll from its deep roots, and pushes it onward by putting their own honest interpretation of new rock sounds with elements of R&B and Blues added.

The band members are;  Kevin Galloway on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Hal Vorpahl on bass, Mike Carpenter on lead guitar and vocals, Josh Greco on drums and percussion and Jon Grossman on lead vocals and keys.

The new CD will be for sale at the event and the band will be available for autographs and a meet and greet after the show.

Tickets are available for $10 online at libertytyler.com or at the door 30 minutes before the show for $15 (cash only).
