Union Grove students are looking to have a successful launch of their rocket in New Mexico today (6/28). They are one of only four schools to test their flying machine.

Third time is the charm, hopefully, as the the students two previous trips resulted in failed launches.

Lauren Gibson is the project director and told KLTV, "It was just pushing myself to do the work, that was probably the hardest part."

The 20 foot aluminum rocket will launch this morning. We'll keep an eye on the story and good luck for a successful launch.
