The National Weather Service in Shreveport is predicting up to 6 inches of rainfall in East Texas this weekend, according to the Tyler Morning Telegraph.

The rain is expected to continue through Sunday. and there could be flooding near the Sabine and Neches Rivers. A flood warning for the Sabine River near Gladewater, Hawkins and Mineola has been issued from Saturday evening until Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Shreveport. The affected counties are Angelina, Bowie, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Titus, Upshur and Wood.
