It wasn't without any upsets, though. No. 6 seed Casey James notched his second straight upset win this week, knocking off No. 2 seed Tim McGraw a week after ousting No. 3 seed Josh Turner in the first round.

Now he faces fan favorite and top seed Luke Bryan, but does Casey have a third straight upset in store?

On the other side, George Strait cruised to another win, having no trouble with Gary Allan. Now he faces third seed Keith Urban, who won an incredibly close showdown with No. 2 seed Blake Shelton.
