Happy Birthday, Whataburger — Who Makes the Best Burger? [POLL]
Today is a local and Texan favorite Wataburger’s 62nd birthday. The Dobson family opened the first Whataburger on this day in 1950 in Corpus Christi.
With 700-plus locations and still growing, Whataburger has established itself as one of the premier fast-food burger chains in the country. And some of the original A-frame buildings are still in service. I personally didn’t know about Whataburger until I moved to Texas 13 years ago. And trust me, I found a very good burger.
So lets make this story interesting today and see how much you like their burger, or is some other chain your favorite? Even Texas has seen the famous In-N-Out Burger set up shop in the Metroplex, causing major debates.
