Alicia Briggs Parks, a Whitehouse graduate, will share her experience in crowdfunding her Travel Tray at the Tyler Innovation Pipeline this Thursday, Oct. 26.

Alicia will share her expertise  from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. She will share her experience in successfully crowdfunding an innovative product by using her experience in focused customer service.

As a self-taught 3D modeler, Briggs, in collaboration with Pierpoint Inc., developed a new product that meets the needs of parents of young children on the go, the Travel Tray. The Travel Tray is a simple design that efficiently meets a need for parents by allowing young people (and even adults) to easily hold drinks and snacks in one convenient location.

Brigg’s passion to be a lifelong learner, self-starter and determination have helped her overcome barriers in her career and propelled her to new heights. She is living proof that it is never too late or too early to learn a new technology and make a positive difference in your life and the life of others.

This TIP Talk is an excellent opportunity for parents and their young innovators and inventors to attend together. Tickets are free and can be obtained online through Eventbrite.
