ABC News reported a woman from Dallas survived her  husband's attempt to have her killed. Frank Howard is a wealthy businessman who is being charged with hiring a hit-man to kill his wife. But get this -- he wants her back!Nancy Howard remembers a  bullet ripping through her left eye when a gunman shot her in the driveway of her Carrollton home on Aug. 18. Here's what Nancy told ABCNews:

I prayed through the whole incident and called on God to save me, and he did. He carried me through. I am thankful. Thankful that I have life; thankful that God has given me life. That's going to be a great future.

The doctors say it is a miracle that Nancy survived. The bullet went through her eye and eventually lodged in her lung.  She was in a coma for a couple of days, but now one month after the attack, she is walking and talking.

Nancy Howard faced her husband in a courtroom in Denton this past Tuesday. Frank Howard walked into the courtroom wearing his wedding ring, at which Mrs. Howard asked for $250,000 from him for medical and living expenses. The judge ordered Mr. Howard to pay over protests from his lawyer, Arch McColl, that he has only $4,000 to live on.

Howard is adamant he did not hire a hit on his wife.

Howard's defense team says they are working actively toward a reconciliation with his wife. Here's what WFFA reported his lawyer, Arch MColl said about the reconciliation:

He would like to reconcile with her, and I believe, she with him. I think they've got a possibility of doing that. I think they're both people of strong faith; he's been very active in his church for 30 years — 25 or 30 years — he sings in the choir."

Howard has admitted to having had an affair for four years and spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on the other woman. When questioned about the cheating with another woman, his council has this to say:

Yeah, we've acknowledged that. He's human; that doesn't mean he's guilty of a crime."

This isn't the only trouble Frank Howard is in. He is also being sued by his former employer for allegedly embezzling money. His former employer believes part of that money was used to pay for the hit on Nancy Howard.

I really don't know what to say. This seems so backwards to me. I mean, this guys seems to want it all, doesn't he? How conceited, or maybe just delusional, can this guy be? I'm thinking if I was in that situation, going back to the man would never cross my mind. But then I'm not in this situation so I really can't know. It's crazy to me.

I pray for Nancy and give her credit for her obvious bravery and attitude. God Bless you Nancy!
