Did you catch Willie's appearance on The Today Show this morning? If not we've got it for you right here. Willie, was there to discuss his new biography, "Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I'm Gone," but that's not all he discussed.

A couple weeks ago voters in Colorado and Washington passed legislation legalizing marijuana for recreational use, of course Matt Lauer opened the interview with this.

Nelson, a longtime proponent of it's legalization told Lauer when asked that he was happy he passed. And that "I haven't seen any side effects’ that are harmful to me," regarding his use of the drug.

Something else the two spoke about was Willie being able to play and share music with his children. "It's great to have your kids on the stage with you. Especially if they're good, yeah, that's as good as it gets," Willie says of this opportunity.
