You Could Be the ‘Funniest Comic in East Texas’

If you think you're hilarious and are just waiting to get discovered with your comedic talents, then you will not want to waste any time because the 'Funniest Comic In East Texas' competition is coming to the Liberty Hall April 26. Or if you've been at a party and have caught the attention of everyone in attendance because of your jokes, this could be something for you!

To be considered for the competition you must submit a video containing at least five minutes of original material via a YouTube link along with a head shot by 5 p.m. on March 27. If you're selected by the panel of judges, you'll be competing with 10 to 12 other East Texans for the title of 'Funniest Comic in East Texas' on April 26 at Liberty Hall in downtown Tyler.

The stage will be yours that night -- you'll be competing for audience votes and if you're named champion, you'll be crowned 'Funniest Comic In East Texas' and return to make an appearance during the East Texas Comedy Festival June 13-14.

Get your audition video completed and loaded to YouTube and them email the link to EastTexasComedy@gmail.com by March 27!
