Young Woman Confronts Her Sexual Abuser on the Phone [VIDEO]

Sexual assault is a terrible thing. It can happen to anyone and does not discriminate. When it happens to young children, it will alter their adulthood. This young woman wanted to explain that to her sexual abuser in a confrontational phone call that she recorded on video.

"Jamie X" was sexually abused by her teacher at a younger age. Now 28, she has decided to speak out about this abuse. Though it is too late for her to file charges, she decided to still do something about it.

Her choice was to confront the woman who sexually assaulted her.

Jamie's abuse reportedly began when she was 12 years old. In the video showing this confrontation, she says to her former teacher and sexual abuser, "You know that I am completely messed up? That I have so many issues because of you?"

She may never completely overcome the effects of her abuse. She may never see legal justice for this teacher's actions. But, she can help others.

Jamie says, “I am 28 years old and have been waiting years to get up enough courage to report a teacher for sexually abusing me for years. When I finally got up enough courage to report her, I found out that the statute of limitations was up and she will never have to pay for the things that she did to me.”

If this can be expressed to others who have hidden their own abuse, then more of these horrific crimes can be put on trial. More abusers can be locked up instead of getting away with it.

This is a tough video to watch, but you will end it feeling so proud for young Jamie. She stood up to the woman who drastically changed her life, and made her remember and think about the appalling things she did.
