Vince Gill, Charles Esten, RaeLynn and a slew of other country stars and celebrities are brushing up on their base-stealing and pop-fly-catching skills in preparation for City of Hope’s 26th Annual Celebrity Softball Game, which benefits the organization’s mission to find cures for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases.

Also on the field at Nashville's First Tennessee Park on June 7 will be Chris Lane, Scotty McCreery, David Nail, Jamie Lynn Spears and rocker Bret Michaels. More participant names for the Grand Ole Opry and iHeartCountry teams will be announced in the coming weeks.

An annual part of the CMA Festival, the 3PM game will honor music industry vet and event founder Bruce Hinton for his 25 years of service, and it will also feature 8-year-old Aaron Yniquez, a City of Hope patient from Redlands, Calif., who will be meeting his life-saving stem cell donor Yolanda Nava from Arlington, Texas for the first time. Tickets for the game are available now through Ticketmaster.

Past events have included participants like Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and many others.

CMA Fest also features a packed schedule of concerts both downtown — which are open to the public — and in Nissan Stadium, which is a ticketed event every night. Headliners for the stadium shows include Eric Church, Sam Hunt, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and Rascal Flatts, plus just about every other country artist you can think of. All of the stadium events are sold out, but tickets are still available for Fan Fair, which includes the riverfront shows.
