Are you the person that wants to argue with a store employee when they ask you put on a mask?

If you answered NO, then feel free to move on with the rest of your day.

If you answered YES, sit down for a second because we need to talk. Let me start with a simple question, why?  Why do you think that arguing with a store employee over a mandated policy is going to do anything?

I understand that you are an American and have rights, and that you probably don't even think that Coronavirus is real. I disagree with you, but I at least understand that we have different opinions. What I don't understand is why you think that arguing, or berating that employee is the right thing to do.

The odds are that the person you are yelling at has absolutely nothing to do with the mask policy at the store. They might not even agree with it! That employee though definitely needs her/his paycheck, and would probably LOVE to get through the day without dealing with an irate idiot yelling at them.

If you are a person arguing, you look even more like a jerk now that mask wearing has been mandated by Gov. Whitmer. That means the stores must enforce the mask wearing, whether they wanted to or not.

I could sit and argue with you all day about it, but there are eleventy billion other things more important right now.

The fact is that in Michigan, you must wear a mask to enter a business. It's not an infringement on your rights, and it is in the best interest of public health.

If you don't want to wear one, don't go to the store. Use a delivery service, or ask someone to go get the things you need for you.
