During the taping for the Elvis All-Star Tribute TV special, a number of country and pop all-stars came together for a collaborative performance of Elvis Presley famous song "If I Can Dream." Carrie Underwood, Darius RuckerBlake Shelton and a number of famous pop stars are part of the "If I Can Dream" medley. The performance opens with footage of Presley performing the song during his '68 Comeback Special; the present-day performances take place in a single spotlight, in front of a red "ELVIS" sign, just as Presley's did during that famous TV special 50 years ago.

Shelton's portion of "If I Can Dream" is particularly special: He "duets" with Presley -- their performance footage appears side by side -- during his part of the song, before Presley's original performance concludes the moment. Readers can press play above to watch the full video.

Shelton is hosting the Elvis All-Star Tribute TV special. Other country musicians who are participating in the star-studded special include Kelsea BalleriniLittle Big Town, Keith Urban, the Pistol Annies and Dierks Bentley. Outside of the genre Jennifer LopezEd Sheeran and other stars are scheduled to take the stage.

Elvis All-Star Tribute will be broadcast on NBC on Feb. 17 at 9PM ET.
