The band Uncle Lucius was gracious enough to stop by and perform in the the studio yesterday for forty plus fans and listeners -- the overall consensus on the performance, AWESOME. And a big thank you to Stanley's Famous Pit Bar-B-Que for feeding all of us lunch.

Uncle Lucius is will be stopping by the KNUE studios tomorrow Thursday (Feb. 7) to put on an acoustic show. To say these guys are amazing would be like saying Albert Einstein was a smart fella, or Michael Jordan was good at basketball -- it's an understatement is what I'm getting at.

William Clark Green stopped by The KNUE Front Porch this afternoon and left us with a few acoustic versions of his hit songs including: "Tonight," "Caroline" and his current single "Catch me When I Fall," which features Josh Abbott. Will will be performing live tonight at Electric Cowboy in Tyler, tickets will be available at the door, so y'all come on out.

For well over a decade Cody Canada was the front man of Cross Canadian Ragweed, legitimately the most successful and popular band in Red Dirt history. With the table set by guys named McClure and Laflave, Ragweed re-defined the Red Dirt sound before packaging it up, all pretty and gritty, and shipping out of Oklahoma into Texas, and ultimately the rest of the U.S.

We are sad to report Wade Bowen has had to cancel his Front Porch Show that was scheduled for this Friday April 20th in the KNUE studios. Wade has had a death in the family and so he will be attending the funeral during the day.
