“Good Vibes” hit maker Chris Janson was playing a show in California Sunday (June 2) when he saw him. Amidst a sea of adults stood a little kid in a cowboy hat...and immediately, Janson knew what he had to do.

He just had to sing with him.

“Perfect Sunday afternoon in California,” wrote Janson on Sunday (June 2) on his Instagram page, alongside a video of him singing his hit song “Buy Me a Boat” with the little cowboy. “Checkout this awesome duet partner! Kids rule.”

For the record, you rule too, Mr. Janson.

Heck, Janson is getting ready for two big stadium shows at the moment, one with George Strait on Saturday (June 8) in Ohio and the other as part of the Country Music Association’s nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium during CMA Fest in downtown Nashville on Sunday (June 9).

“I can’t think of a better way to kick off the summer than playing two stadium shows, one for CMA Fest at Nissan Stadium and one the day before at Ohio Stadium with the King of Country George Strait!” Janson said in a recent press release.

If that wasn’t enough, Janson will also spend Wednesday (June 5) waiting to see if his name will be called at the upcoming CMT Awards, where his video for his single “Drunk Girl” is up for CMT’s “Video of the Year” award.

“Thank you CMT for recognizing such a special song and video,” Janson said in a recent press release. “The song continues to make an impact on my career, and I’m so grateful to be nominated for such a prestigious award.”
