Check out this big handsome guy. His name is Cody. He is about 3 years old, weighs 80 pounds and looks like a hound mix.

Cody was adopted when he was a puppy and was recently returned due to the health of his owner. He is available for adoption at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler. Cody needs a country home where he can take long walks with his people.

He has been neutered, is current on starting vaccinations including rabies and has been microchipped for identification purposes. For additional information on adopting Cody call 903 597-2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website – petsfurpeople.org.

Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the only brick and mortar no kill shelter in East Texas. They offer dog boarding and routine vaccinations except for rabies to the public for dogs and cats. Follow them on Facebook.
