IHOP restaurants will once again celebrate National Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 5th from 7 am to 10 pm. IHOP will be offering a free short stack of its famous buttermilk pancakes to each guest and, in return, diners will be asked to make a voluntary donation for Shriners Hospitals for Children and other local children's charities. IHOP is hoping to raise $3 million again this year.

Shriners Hospitals for Children is a 22-hospital health care system that provides pediatric specialty care regardless of the family’s ability to pay for services.

Last year IHOP served 4 million free pancakes and customers donated more than $3 million. The money was donated to the Shriners and other local children's charities. All those pancakes would create a giant stack nearly 16 miles high!

It’s a win-win celebration! Hope you’ll join us in celebrating the “flapjack” and help out children at the same time! You can also participate by donating on-line at ihoppancakeday.com.
