Watch: Terrifying Moment Train Strikes Trailer in Fort Worth

The moment a train struck a trailer being pulled by a pickup in Fort Worth was caught on video. 

The driver of the pickup is lucky to be alive after being stuck on the train tracks with the railroad crossing arm stuck on the piece of equipment they were pulling. 

The driver pulled forward into the other lane seconds before the train struck. Had they not been able to move, the pickup would have taken a direct hit. Instead, the trailer took the impact of the train and detached from the pickup. 

Had the trailer not been detached by the impact, the truck surely would have been dragged by the train. 

The condition of the driver or anyone else involved isn’t known at this time.
